Swasa Movement.

Sex Workers and Allies South Asia (SWASA) is a collaborative effort between sex
workers and supportive activists and organisations in Bangladesh, India, Nepal and
Sri Lanka. The initiative aligns itself to the LGBTQI and women’s rights
movements and other struggles of the marginalized and draws attention to
violations of sex workers' rights in the region.
SWASA Nepal is working from 2010 till now, but from 2019 it started to work
formally from local to national level. In local level, it works with Community
Based Organizations (CBOs/Leaders). In National level, it works on increasing
network.
The major activities carried out by SWASA:
1. It helps in strengthening the sex workers rights movement in Nepal.
2. It focuses on Alliance Building
3. SWASA focuses on the Capacity building of female sex workers.
